Description: | My first attempt at recreating a record with live recordings from the current lineup in 2010. Only two records were played to completion by the either the full band or D&T this year. R2T & this one*. (technically, "Grux" counts as a track proper). Now that we have The Last Stop back, it's high time to update the BTCS experience. With Tim, Jeff, Mr. Ross & no Butch or Lovely Ladies...this year's music had a rather 'heavy rock' tone to it. UPDATE: Still working on finding a Stay & DDTW that fit better. I'm trying to diversify the shows more. Obviously with only 1 Spoon, DT, & good recording of Halloween the choices are limited. Feel free to edit & swap! if you feel inclined to add your own touch, make sure to listen to the album as a whole at least once first to absorb it's current incarnation! The tracks chosen are based on a couple merits: 1) The quality of the recording. So a 'better' performance will be left on the shelf for a better sound quality. 2) How it fits in the playlist as an 'album.' That is, a "The Last Stop" that closed a show may not work very well if it has a sense of 'finality' to it. You don't have to follow these guidelines, just please give a listen a couple times and wait if you're going to change something. -Thanks! |
